Array Track Tie along the Rails

I am trying to Array Track Tie along the Rails.

I used Spacing Tool to get Array, but I have problem to have Tie perpendicular to Rail. Software: 3ds Max 6

 

If anybody have any idea how I can do it I would appreciate it very much.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but try turning on the follow checkbox should work, it alligns the distributed object with the tangent of the spline

For example, if I have curved spline and rectangle and I need rectangles to be perpendicular to tangents of the spline.

Using spacing tool, I turned on follow check box but I cannot get it perpendicular.

I hope my question is clear now.

trie placing the rectangle on the end vertex of the spline, then if they arent placed properly, rotate the rectabgles 90degrees en volia! it should work,
