Can you share your material? thanks Carlosthanks! the material for the blinds came from 3d max 6 archmat library.its in there somewhere, burlap fabric with its corresponding bump and opacity applied. let me know if you need it,i can upload it here. voltaire_ira Posted May 20, 2004 Author Share Posted May 20, 2004 nice work! tell us about your light setup. how many and what kind my light set-up is basically one target direct standard light and vray lights just to add additional illumination. the important setting would be the number of bounces so as to control the lighting. giraffe: the wood material is a vray material with an image of the floor material.the reflectivity is set quite low and the glossiness at 0.65 something. I also like your painting on the wall, you let it "hang", and it looks great with the shadow behind it. Nice images, it gets better as it progresses.
