Richard McCarthy
Hmm I must say, I never touch that, I am not much of a coder myself, could never really work out the tail end of the coding LOL... So, I can only refer yuo to a tool that does that... http://www.parallelgraphics.com In the "Internet Scene Assembler", there is a node/function that let you drop the character into the scene, and the AI knows how to avoid object if collision detection is enable. In concept, I guess you can combine the collision detection node with your AI path finding algorithm to create a complex path finding AI.
