VRML and Path Finding

Hmm I must say, I never touch that, I am not much of a coder myself, could never really work out the tail end of the coding LOL...

So, I can only refer yuo to a tool that does that...

In the "Internet Scene Assembler", there is a node/function that let you drop the character into the scene, and the AI knows how to avoid object if collision detection is enable.

 

In concept, I guess you can combine the collision detection node with your AI path finding algorithm to create a complex path finding AI.

Well, you kinda prompted me to dig up my OLD VRML bookmarks :)

I am REALLY surprised to see that this awesome website still have the old links working.. this japanese guy basically have the VRML AI path finding mastered...

Download his VRML and be amazed.. (and try to figure out how he did it)
