bobmaxer
just wanted to know if brazil luma server indirect lighting is required for exteriors, if i have to use indirect skylight, what should be the value for bounces, any tips on this will be of great help
rivoli
it's basically up to you. if you want or need gi then indirect light has to be turned on. bounces are not only related with skylight, they affect the behavior of any source of light (directional, area, omni...). usually 2 bounces are enough, but it really depends on your scene and how you set up lights and so on. i've seen people rendering images with more than 5 bounces (up to 7), but just as a basic rule: the more the bounces the longer the render time. Pictor
The setup I usually use for exteriors is simply one direct Blight with brazil shadows and in the luma server turn on skylight and set the indirect bounces to 2, any more and you start getting too much noise for little extra realism.
