I think not.

Is the same question I made to my Acad reseller a few months ago...

They say that VizRender Is a VERY semplified version of the render of Viz4...

(the same render engine, but with lots of options missing... starting from the material options...I am not satisfied at all with it)

For this reason all the plugins made for 3dsmax or for viz would need a total "rewrite".. too much cost for a program that has not a valid render engine (IMHO)

I'm waiting for Viz2005, that here in Italy, for some unknown reason, It is NOT yet distribuited...

Yesterday the Italian distribuitor said "In italy the program does not exsist... we know that is distribuited in the USA but we doesn't know when It will be sell in Italy... perhaps days, probably months!!! " :-(

Obviously I can't buy the program in the Usa because the licence is valid only in the country were I work :(

Well, this is a bit off topic, so forgive me for that.

Bye

Gabry

Yes. VIZ Render is a different platform than 3dsmax/VIZ, it has a different SDK that is not public either.

Plugin developers need to contact Autodesk and publish their plugins for VIZ Render. So far only those have done so. You should simply contact them and ask for information on VIZ Render plugins - if they see enough market interest, they will develop the plugins for it.
