rgardner
Hi All, I have asked a similar question before for Max, but I have a tree image with the corresponding alpa map. I want to use this image within a 2d photoshop drawing (exported from ADT). I assume I have to load the alpha map as a layer mask within the original tree image? Question is how can I load a selection from a 2nd file to be used as a mask in the 1st image? Thanks Richard
jucaro
Open the 2nd file (alpha map) in PS, press Ctrl+A (Select All), then Ctrl+X (Cut), Then close the file without saving it. IN the channel tab of your Image (tree), create a new layer, then paste. Wallah!! you now have an alpha map in your tree image.
rgardner
Nice one: I was trying to find a way to paste it somehow into the layer mask box. Thanks for your help. Richard
