Daylight Saving Time

Just in the process of doing some montages of sun studies using a four suns on different dates on different months of the year and tracing each over the period of a day and marking specific times.

 

Basically wondering about DST settings. I'm using max, i've set up my daylight system, set my location (London UK)

 

My question is if I specify location does max work out British Summer time (DST) or do i have to tick the check box?

 

If I have to check the box do I do this only in the Winter months as otherwise it seems to adjust all year round.

 

Seems strange that in such a accurate system that I may have to do this.
