Tim Nelson
I tried it once and hated it....Well maybe I could learn to like it if I was continually applying materials to my objects in ADT, but I still prefer the UI of Viz. I guess what I had a hard time with was the new system they introduced for materials.

Kerry Thompson
Hi Strat I did some renders for a project last year using only ADT and Viz. http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2196 About to try similar things with the ADT 5 Viz Render. Found materials interesting to work with using the AutoCAD material editor to start with and embedding these into the object styles? Bit cumbersome Cheers Kerry
Manuel Rivera
I use it currently (Viz renderADT 5 ), not terribly happy with it, but it's integration with ADT 2005 is pretty seamless. But that damn i-drop matlib lacks the flexibility of other programs ie. 3dsmax, maya, etc. I wouldn't be supprised if AutoDesk gets rid of the standalone Viz 2005, and develops only for viz render.
