Premiere Pro--workflow juggling

Recommended Posts

Just a rant on Adobe---

Why the hell does each new version of your software have to re-design the workflow? Maybe Adobe should move their corporate offices from Colorado to Detroit, where the concept of re-design for no good reason is an institution.

I've had Prmiere Pro for months, haven't used it much because nothing works the way it did in Premiere 6. It also refused to open my P6 files, so I was stuck working on them in the last version.

They have re-done how transitions are placed and used? Why? What was wrong with it before? This great new workflow means I have to re-learn the software. They've done that with Photoshop, too. Hey Adobe--how about just add function and leave what works alone.

Now I'm mad.

Hmmm. Thought it was just me.

I had to sit down and get used to the new interface. I purchased the bundle and the new workflow in premiere is now closer to After Effects... They even added keyframes on the timeline just like AE keyframes.... it will never stop. They have to manufacture some sort of reason to upgrade like everyone else.

Even if I switch to Smoke or Flame, (a Discreet company), we know they never change workflows...... yeah right
