Here i am again, in need for help.

I started modeling a sword "The Sword Of Darkness" The grip was no problem but when i came across the guard and blade it wasnt that easy. i made a part of the blade with Loft NURBS, but i find it a bit innapropriate, or maybe i just don't know how to use it. I was thinking of using the Bridge tool, but that is kinda the same as what i have done so far. Using the Loft NURBS for the blade is...ok but near the armguard where the blade is a bit complicated, im not sure if Loft NURBS is the tool tu use. SO...can ANYONE give me a tutorial or a bit of help to finish the sword.

Black Eagle, I'm sure you are aware, this is an architecture oriented Cinema board. Although we will usually try our best to offer assistance, please keep the topics forcused on architecture.

Other boards you may wish to approach for general modelling advise are Post Forum and CG Talk.

In regards to your sword question, I would use box modelling techniques with hypernurbs and hyper nurbs weighting.

As I stated earlier, we try our best to assist anyone with questions. However, CG Architect is architecture specific, as far as I know the only board of its kind. Some of your questions tend to stray very far from architecture and I think would be more fitting on a general discussion board, or at least on a board focused on similar interests. Some BBS's you may want to look at for discussions on swords, cars ect. would be:

CG TAlk

http://www.cgtalk.com/

Renderosity

http://www.renderosity.com/forums.ez?Form.sess_id=13038797&Form.sess_key=1087314090

PostForum

http://www.postforum.com/forums/list.php?f=6

I think you would find these boards more usefull and productive for the type of work you seem interested in. You are likely to get more help from those with similar interests :D
