computrina
Hey guys, I’ve been going crazy trying to find the reason why my right click stopped working. I have Max 2010 x 64 installed on Windows 7. I worked just fine for a long time and all of a sudden i can’t right click in the viewport. If I right click on the viewport bar, it works, the menu appears. Right clicking in the command panel works as well. Therefore, it’s definitely not the mouse. It's just the right click that sends you to the very useful menu with the hide/unhide/convert to... and so on. Everything else works. At this point I have unistalled the program with Revo Uninstaller, but it still saves my preferences. I would like to reinstall from the default settings and clean registry. Revo Unistaller doesn't seem to take everything out of the system Has anyone else had this problem? How can i fix it? Thanks!
Crazy Homeless Guy
Check to see if this is ticked. If so, untick it.... Customize > Preferences > Mouse Control > Right Click Menu Over Selected Only

computrina
Yeah.. that only worked in Max 2011. It doesn't work in 2010 which i want to switch back to on account of some weird UVW behaviour for the Coppet with circle cutouts. I just installed Max 2010 again and I have the same problem. Any chance to switch back to the original settings or something? Thanks
