Unkown problem causing rendering to turn black??? Any thoughts???

I have a problem where I am trying to render multiple glass walls and as the render proceeds, chunks of the image gradually become black (see image link below). Considering it gets worse as the SL goes up (and with image size) I'm assuming it is perhaps too much for Maxwell to handle, but I'm not sure exactly why.

Info:

The model itself is pretty light. Created in Autocad 2010, and imported into 3Ds Max, and then rendered with Maxwell materials in version 2.01. The model consists of numerous transparent walls, but that is about it. It is located outside, so I'm only using 3Ds environmental lighting.

I've tried it with numerous materials, with various layer combination's, and all seem to do the same thing. A quick render @ 320x240 doesn't do it as much, but even with bumping that up to only 640x480 and the problems start to appear. The sample provided took about an hour, rendered with a glass material applied.

Any thoughts as to the exact problem, ways around it or solutions in the settings? Or should I try Vray or mental ray?? I'm somewhat new to Maxwell, but haven't had any problems up till now. Thanks a lot, any suggestions would be appreciated.

In case anyone sees this and has experienced the same problem, I believe I figured out the cause. In this case, it appears that it was one material that was applied to a small object, and for whatever reason, this material was causing the black screen to appear. I know other people have had problems with materials, although this doesn't seem quite similar, as it isn't a missing material, and was taken off of the Maxwell resources site, and no errors were reported during rendering.

Anyway, I'll leave this post up a bit and perhaps take it down in case anyone was wondering the same question.......

Cheers,
