Cuchullain
Hi all. I have been an architectural technician for 10 years now. I've always been kept busy drafting 2d working drawings etc. However, at this stage I would like to move towards the visualization end of the industry. I have only ever done a tiny bit of Autocad 3d at university, so I am a complete novice. I think this could be a good extra string to my bow and with the current pressure on jobs I think having a skilll like this could make me more employable. So, now I am wondering where to start. Which software should I learn? Are there online courses that might get me started in the right direction? Which aspects of visualization will be most in demand in the future? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
BVI
Grab some of the trials for the bigger packages, modo, 3dmax, maya, cinema4d etc, see what suits you and take it from there.
