gputhige
Hi My current render settings for an exterior scene are as follows: Building Exterior scene. Vray rendering engine - Vray Camera Direct Light to light up the scene - HDRI map used to light up the overall scene (diffuse lighting) No other lights. Planes used for Sky /Building / Tree maps - only for reflection on the external glasses (Cast/Receive Shadow off; Visible to cam off;) My problem is If I allow these maps used for reflection, to participate in the GI, then I have the colours bleed on the white external walls If I reduce the vray properties Generate / Receive GI from 1 to say 0.1, then I have sploches on the white wall. How can I use these planes for only reflection purposes but at the same time have the HDRI light up the walls? I also noticed that if I use a sphere (half) for sky, then HDRI map does not light up the scene at all. The HDRI map is in the vray overide environ slot as an instance.
