Monty
Hi, I am working on a landscape. I have zoomed out to the maximum extent but still the only part of the scene is visible. Is is possible to zoom out more? Thanks, Surjit
Jennifer
What are the dimensions of the scene? Is this a perspective view?
Cyberdigitus
you could switch to a camera and set it's clipping planes.
Ricardo Eloy
This might be also an unit problem. What are your units?
Jennifer
If it is a perspective view, then it could be a FOV issue. I see this with my students a lot, where they inadvertently use the Field-of-View control on a Perspective view, thinking that it is the same as Zoom. That button is a flyout when the Perspective view is selected, and using it to 'zoom' will cause the scene to not view properly, if at all. Going to the multi-view viewport arrangement, then changing the perspective view to User, then back to Perspective, will fix this. Change the flyout to the Region Zoom. It could be Viewport Clipping; the default could be outside the range he needs. Right-click on the viewport label, and turn on Viewport clipping, then adjust the clipping markers along the right of the viewport.
