akinlolugboji
Saved from the renderer the jpeg file is 1.7MB. Open it in a graphic program like Microsoft Paint or similar and save it overwriting the original without doing anything to it the size of the resaved file is now 315KB. Is the quality of the picture or information tagged with the file not reduce?
AJLynn
It reduced you JPG quality. Don't save your renders from Microsoft Paint and if you must render out to JPG never save over the original file, you can't do it without losing image quality. If you don't want to pay for Photoshop, you can get Gimp free. I don't like Gimp, but it has better file compatibility and more useful tools than MS Paint, and JPG saving quality options.
