Vray rendered scene appears almost dark......... why so?

hi,

 

I am using Vray for the first time , am in the process of modeling a sofa when I quick render the scene (just a cushion) it appears dark, like there is no sufficient light in the scene.

 

I guess the default light should at least make it visible or has it got to do with the Vray settings?

most likely an exposure problem, are you using a vray camera?

Check your GI settings, color mapping, and camera exposure.
