After trying several times I ended up with this username...to find that I used to be marvins_dad - gut I've only posted 29 times over the years under that name.

 

I'm primarily using SketchUp for design work, rendering with Twilight currently.

Lately I have been cursing the SU folks for not upgrading the code for 64 bit use.

I used the founder of this site's machine as a guideline for my current render workstation and seems that was a good guide.

 

Trying to get more into photo realistic presentations - also looking for resources for general lighting training and tips. Was hoping you guys were still doing your annual conference, but doesn't look like it is happening again this year. Any tips, sites, conferences you suggest will be welcomed.

 

At some point I will get brave and post some of my current work.
