theoberd
Hi to everyone, this forum seems to be really helpful! Can you please give me some advise on how to make this more realistic?I use vray+3ds max 2010 thanks a lot!
aristocratic3d
Increase the metal reflection subdivision value, you may tweak models, and just bring more realism in towel, apply displacement on it. I think other than that its a good job done.

Thr mirror doesn't touch the floor and its hard to tell where it ends. There is no mirror perfectly reflecting like this. Find some reflection map that doesn't make it that uniform . Everything else is very well done and realistic. I wanted to take the towl to dry my hands - than I saw it was 3D. Keep it up. RK
Tommy L
Very nice. Different pattern on the towel tho. Looks like someone didnt have any toilet paper....
aristocratic3d
I wanted to take the towl to dry my hands - than I saw it was 3D. LOL. I thought that was the characteristics of the mirror. And the towel, it looks like some one took a scissor and cut it through. there is no stitches at bottom part of the towel. theoberd
thank you all for your comments!! The towel was the main problem... I made some changes and i want your opinion... what do you think about the lighting? thanks a lot
aristocratic3d
Actually your image is already realistic as ralf said. But regarding the towel, Fabric of the towel is improved. I guess you used displacement. I think if you add stitches at the lower edge of the towel and make it more like this will add more realism. http://static2.evermotion.org/files/model_images/c9113be758c1bb639d971103471506d7.jpg regards. Inxa
Agreed to the above comment. The towel presently looks like paper. It needs some thickness and a subtle displacement. Like the first image a lot. The second one looks a bit over bright. Please change the basin model. And I think you are done. You could place a foot rug and a plant maybe. heni30
I think the objects have a lot to do with it. The faucet tube has a strange curve to it; almost looks like it was bent by hand. The bowls are also a strange shape and their material is ambiguous. I think if these objects were simpler with strong shapes and clearly defined materials the impact of the image would improve.
