First Sketchup/Photoshop rendering

I am new to this site and honestly don't have much experience with sketchup and/or rendering. This was my first attempt. Obviously going for a more hand drawn/rendered look...

This is a great start, I think it looks great! the edges are too faded out though... I think it would look nicer to let it bleed to the edge.

 

Another thing you could try is to scan some rough paper and overlay it at a lower opacity in multiply blend type... might help roughen it up a bit and give it some texture.

Great job. Try adding some paper texture to really give some depth and add the flavor of a hand rendering.
