Architects are those who primarily make a plan for building construction. It can be a single family home construction or even a mixed-used residential tower or a shopping mall. So it is clear that an architect works on a small to a large scale of a construction. In that case, he often has to face various types of complexities.

In such a condition, he needs the help of SketchUp. Sketchup is a program developer used for the conceptual stages of design. Basically it combines the naturalness & accurateness of pencil drawings with the flexibility of today’s digital camera & almost produces stylish & speedy 3D model.

Manoj, if your intentions are to use these forums to attempt to market your services, don't. If you really are that inspired by sketchup that you want to shout out to the world it's benefits, then I'm with you, skethchup is good for what it is, a very basic box modelling program, but it has it's limitations.

These forums used to be a place to come and learn about others in the industry. However lately, like with the merging of the gallery with the "finished work" thread, it has has lost some it's warmth, becoming instead more of a showcase of smaller companies trying to market themselves.... Just needed to vent that out, sorry Manoj

I'll take a leap of faith and say that I don't think Manoj meant for this to be an advertisement...

Quoted second part of Jonathan's reply for agreement. I feel like I am sifting through flyers many times when I log on now to see what's going on and check up...

Hey James, I agree - I visit the gallery a bit less now as well, maybe its because we can be picky about which images we look at (because of the thumbnail?)?
