salf
Ok, im saving some money to buy one of those archivision RPC Cds, but in the meantime i dont have money to do so, and im facing a project that needs various types of people doing stuff...mostly just standing. I havent need to use any RPC in the past, so i limited myself to some persons photos on the animax.it website, and then i created the RPC (difuse and alpha) on photoshop, but right now i have to use more people fo rthe project. You guys know any free source RPC images of people?....or any website with nice people photos so i can then make RPC out of those in phostoshop? Any info will be appreciatted, thanks. Ernest Burden III
I don't know of any sites to get that sort of stuff free. But you have photoshop, so if you can use a digital camera, even borrow one, you can go out to a public place and shoot your own. It will take time to cut them out in Photoshop, but usually we have either time, or money, but rarely both. So my guess is you can better afford to spend some time now than money. abicalho
I used to buy magazines, scan photos, remove any people's traces and use those. Magazines like "Caras" are very good for these things, with tons of pictures of people in it. It takes time, but it costs almost nothing. mwhite
There are several people (and trees) with masks already to go at: and they look pretty good. Click on the men and women links to get to the files. I believe archvision has a couple of free cutouts if you haven't already found those. Good luck, Mike White

quizzy
It takes time, but it costs almost nothing. Time = money ;-) Anyway, the guys from archvision are very nice people, just ask them if they can give you some sort of discount, maybe you can even hire their content just for the project you are using it for. And as above is mentioned, you can create your own RPC's in the RPC creator, after you've masked out the background. You can create your own library called "salf" for instance and work with the content as RPC's in MAX. The RPC file format is protected by copyrights, so you wont find a lot on the internet (legal). foxlee
The one I use frequently now is : http://www.gettyimages.com/source/home/home.aspx Just search ,its got a great search engine, and is specific .Resolution is not fantastic but they are great to fill a scene. Unfortunately you still have to cut them out.
