licensing issues

i've installed vray and hardware lock drivers etc etc, and after i did this it worked fine.

 

now whenever i turn off the computer and then turn it on again, start max up, make sure the dongle is in, it says it can't find license.

 

i check the vray license server is running but it tells me there is already another instance running yet there is nothing in the taskbar.

 

and when i go to find the vrmlclient.xml file it's no longer there.

 

any ideas

I've had this problem before--try below, and throw in a restart for good measure:

 

Do you have the license service running (start menu: chaos group>vray>licensing>administration>remove license service)?

Try stopping it and launching the license server. (start menu: chaos group>vray>licensing>launch license server)

cheers brad, yeh i think it's because i tried registering it as a service on the installation. working agian now
