TimidTom
Hi, When I work with materials and render in Max 2009 - then bring that render into Photoshop CS3 the color is different, significantly. I also have color descrepancies between my 2 monitors. I'm new to digital art. Would someone please be so kind as to explain how to get the color consistent and accurate? Thanks - I tried a search but I'm struggling with proper keywords for this. Thanks
Devin Johnston
You have to color calibrate your monitors using a combination of hardware and software first in order to see correct colors. You also need to look into what your Gamma settings are, 3d Studio could be using a different gamma correction than Photoshop, most of the time a gamma setting of 2.2 on all of your applications is the way to go. If you do these things then you shoulden't have any problems.
mxdsa
Color coordination can get tricky. I use the ColorVision Spyder for monitor callibration. Also check your working space in Photoshop. What OS are you on?
