Rendering Tree Texture Maps

Hi,

I'm fairly new to the visualisations scene, been on a slow learning curve using AutoCAD to create the model and importing into 3DS MAX doing some architectural renders for our company for proposed recycling facilities.

I have had some very good results, but the one thing that needs improvement is the trees and foliage.

I have some 3D trees and shrubs but they don;t look very realistic and take an age to render.

Noticed on some websites that texture maps are used on planes to create the smae effect.

I have downloaded some samples and had a play with this and seems to work well for the views we need.

The question I have is, can you automatically make the planes align themselves to a camera as I need to create several different views of the scene, and the trees need to face the camera to look realistic. ?

Any help would be appreciated
