Dell Precision T3500

I just got a quote for the following machine, and was wondering what people thought. The price is right at my limit, but I think the Xeon W3505 is holding me back, should I get more cores? and for the price, should i get an i7 or stick with the Xeons?

if I was to upgrade the Xeon to more cores, what would be recomended?

 

My main tasks are modelling in Revit, VUE for the environments with (Millions of polys) and rendering in MAX with MR, post in PS

Ive checked simillar specs in the BOXX systems, but seem more expensive.
