naba
just small update, this building aready exists in tasmania, Australia. I took the plan and section and modeled it. the design is not mine, i just decided to make this as realistic i can with 3d softwear. I'm planning to do small animation, which will show the entire building's interior and exterior as well. it's still in progress.
pablotoble
Wow! it is a really good image!! I wish I could ever do any as good as this one!! But what I would really like that you could send me the 3d model file, i really need it for a university work... Thanks!
D_Burpee
I really like these images, the application of textures seems pulled off quite well. My only critique would be of that board layout on your first post, it is a little jumbled, which takes away from the images. If you more definitely separated the images I think it would work a little better, those images (mostly the larger one and the top right) have similar contrast, color, etc. so they blend in a little too much. Other than that, great renders, especially the last one you posted.
Fouinard
Cool images !!! I've seen it on archdaily, it's a great design I got some critiques through, I think there's too much dof on the inside view. And you seem to miss skylight on your external views (shadows really really dark and not blueish). Otherwise textures, grass/trees, modeling are great I like your last picture a lot ! Congrats
naba
thanx guys for the feedback:-) i have few vfx stuff to do at the moment, so i didn't have time to continue my project, but next week hopefully back to it. i still need to work on the trees, and the surrounding environment. Also there is the road next to the building, a little garden with rocks, furnitures inside, etc etc. they are still waiting to be modeled. padre.ayuso
Intense work! I really like it, specially the night scene, the lighting is really, really good. The plants and trees are also equally very nice and realistic, what did you use?
Fouinard
wow last image is awesome ! you grass / trees are really realistics ! yeah same question as above !
naba
i use multiscatter for the vegetation, the grass is modified igrass patches around 1600000 or more, in 3 separate multiscatter channels with spline boarders. The trees are made by Onyx Garden, exported as vrmesh, to save memory. The leaves have got 2sidematerials with some reflection. i tried to work with autograss, but it didn't turn up realistic. Lighting is simple: for the night scene i have few vray plane lights in the house and vray dome for hdri lighting, daytime scene has an extra vraysun. Fouinard
Nice ! You made the trees or used the ones given with Onyx ?
naba
I made them in onyx garden, I spent so much time on researching for the vegetation, but i still think i will change them(trees) in future.
Fouinard
I find them pretty cool anyway ! btw, did you use the vray zdepth ? or just added blur manually in photoshop ? edit: I'm not really familiar with onyx... onyx garden is containing onyx conifers, broadleaf etc. or it's something else ?
