Thablanch
For the first message, it is just telling about your subpixel is on.. turn it off to not see that message again. For the second message, that is because you imported stuff from Autocad or Revit. When you import an autocad model, max applies an Architectural mat by default ( called Global) Vray does not like Architectural materials, as it does not handle raytrace materials. What you need to do is to go in: M > material editor Get material button - dialog box appears select from scene Find the one(s) that are architectural instead of VrayMtl Replace it by a vray material Last message, in your F10 / indirect illumination / lightcache, there is a place saying light cache passes. yours is set to 4, you should set it to 8. Thablanch
1 - subpixel... a little if you have over exposed zones. 2 -Architectural.. Vray does not read them, so if the material is sceen in the rendering, you'll have a big black surface... It will also increase rendertimes, in the lightcahe prepass in particular. 3- Lightcache passes, you are simply not using the computer ressources to the maximum, so your lightcache prepass is going to be a little slower, but no effect on final rendering for this one
