Hi there everybody

 

So I'm a current club champion in 2 Single seater formula's. I've come here for some help. I want to redesign my current race car but i need a 3D drawing done or it needs to be done in a CAD design from what i understand. Then i would be able to get it put thru CFD or a virtual wind tunnel. Any assistance will be greatly helpfull and ofcourse i will give any and all feedback if you want to use it in your studies.

If you create an accurate 3d Model then you could actually use something like Avizo's Wind software. This is used extensively for aerodynamic simulations. You could make all your modifications digitally and then export stl components out to send direct to cadcam production.

Thanx man i will look at that once i get the 3d picture done. I will keep you up to date cause if this works its gona be very intresting as there is another team that actually have build a new car.
