Hi,

experiencing this with a lot of files and never figured out how/why it happens?

The model looks fine in ORTHO MODE (no matter the degree of zoom) or in perspective mode when zoomed out (to a degree). However, once you get too close, the viewport display breaksup and becomes impossible to read/look at.

I thought it was a model scale issue but I scaled up the model and the problem remains despite scale. Also tried changing from D3D to OpenGL and problem does not go away.

Anyhow,

images as follows. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your model a long way from the origin? Also - if you are working on a model this size and your system units are in mm, this could be your problem.

Perhaps you could try to set MAX to cm/meters sys units and display scale, an then re-open the scene, getting Max to rescale the model.
