cgrant3d
This is a question for those of you at larger firms primarily. What does your visualization career path look like? Specifically, what are the 1 or 2 steps above a Visualization Artist? I'm trying to get a structure setup here but would like to know how things are setup elsewhere first... Thanks,
Noise
It really depends on what you're trying to achieve with your structure.

BVI
CEO! I have no clue, but does it really matter? I would think it would be junior, mid and senior ?

jophus14
Junior Artist then Senior Artist (no pay raise, just a new title) then 3D Director.
Crazy Homeless Guy
+1 on Director. I also know people who have the title of Manager, I think that would come after Senior Artist, but before Director.
BrianKitts
I went with the title of Visualization Coordinator. Wanted director, but because we have a UK office and that title is used over there I forget if it was above or at what we call a principal but either way they wouldn't let me have it cause it meant something way over my salary level. I think you could have multiple people with the title manager, but director to me sounds like there would be only one.

Justin Hunt
Director also implies a financial stakehold in the company. Associate and Associate director come before it though. jhv
