Casey Hawley
I've configured a new server running Win7 Pro 64-bit and it works fine as the BB Manager and Server (2008.1 & 3DS Max 2009) when run manually. The problem I was having was when trying to install the manager and server as services, which always gave me an "access denied" error in the cmd.exe window. Well, I just had a sudden memory recollection about having to run CMD.exe itself as administrator first, then run managersvc.exe -i.. AND IT WORKED! No more access denied! Manager is now installed as a service. Hope this helps others! Edited September 7, 2010 by spacecase problem solved
MegaPixel
Good Tip! Additionally, if you try to add other Windows 7 Servers to your BB Farm, you may find that you have to set their User Account Settings to the lowest sensitivity available or else they will not pick up render job requests.
