heni30
I was there before and found no mention of price after beta is over, even doing a search with the word "price".
Crazy Homeless Guy
I don't know what it is, but based on the price of other engines it is probably safe to say between $800 and $1200. That is just a guess though. More concerning for me is that the gallery examples they show have very little detail in the models. heni30
I know. The gallery samples are amateurish and lame. It could be people haven't submitted stuff yet. Why was it concerning for you? The limitations of the program? Maybe the company is desperate for quality samples and we could sell them some renderings and make a profit! anejo
Being that v-ray for SU is $799, without an ActiveShade render (V-Ray RT), i would guess that the price for Render(In) with a simplified activeshade render would be about the same. As a beta product, i'm sure there is still a lot of work to be done, and it could be a few years before a quality product is available. However, this is actually an interesting product. Although, i'm not a SU user (other than importing into Max for v-ray production) nor do i want to take the time to learn SU or Render(in) at this time, i would be interested in hearing any reviews.
