Casey Hawley
Using Vray 1.5 x64 on a Win7 slave.. textures are on a networked server. User paths are all set to UNC. VRay via Backburner works fine.. all textures rendered. Vray Spawner running as service on slave, picks up request from client, but renders without textures.. GI is there, just no maps! What is the difference when installing Vray on slave for DR versus Full Workstation? Casey Hawley
Finally fixed! This was my last hurdle for a complete BB or DR setup. After hours of crawling through various posts, I found [thread=31764]this thread[/thread]. Dave's answer was the key! VraySpawner service must be set to logon as a domain user with credentials that allow access to the shared texture resources. Let the bucket party begin!!
