mcfetrmatt
Hi there, Can anyone tell me how to create a surface based on these 3 curves? What I want to do is split an arch into two at one end, I am having trouble makeing the join look realistic and organic. (I have drawn in rougly what I want) At the moment I have this, I created it by spliting the main arch and blendsrf(ing) the other two to it but it doesn't close properly so I had to loft the edges shut. I can't get it to look the way I want with this method and it also has trouble creating a mesh from the solid. mcfetrmatt
An example (Calatrava's Oriente Station) of what I want to model like here. Essentially I want to stick multiple cylinders to another so they join seamlessly. Thanks
mcfetrmatt
I think the answer i'm looking for is in T-Splines. So does anyone know good tutorials? Like what they show as an example on http://www.tsplines.com/applications/architecture.html Thanks Edited September 15, 2010 by mcfetrmatt
