When i render using this multyscatter vray shows an Unhandled Exception like " UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:Preparing instance last marker is at. \src\vrayrenderer.cpp, line 2256: preparing camera sampler but ,if i remove this multiscatter rendering is ok My system is a new one bought last week config- intel corei5 760 Processor ( quad core) DP 55 WG Board ATI 4670 Graph. card 4 GB DDR3 1333 mhz , i tried both win xp 64bit & win7 64bit But an important think is that my old system( which is an AMD mechien) renders the above project with Multiscatter without any exception old sys.config- AMD athlone X2 5600 Processor(dual core) ASUSE M2NE Board Nvidia QuadroFX 570 Grah.card 5GB DDR2 800 mhz My new system renders 6 times faster than old one So please give me a solution Edited September 10, 2010 by sujithcp
Devin Johnston
Something may be corrupt if you can't identify the problem reinstalling everything or at the very least Multiscatter would be advisable. Have you contacted the Multiscatter people to see what they say about the problem?

Alyosha
hey, i had the same problem just now in my case what happened was that multiscatter would somehow create additional instance of itself somewhere near the last created multiscatter, or maybe i did it accidentaly (tho i doubt it since it appeared twice in different areas) so what you should do is check all the multiscatter objects and make sure all of them are created by you and properly set up if any new multiscatter objects appear just delete them and the scene will render normally at least thats how it was in my case
pippomu
Hi, i was able to reproduce this issue: for me the UNHANDLED EXCEPTION appears when i'm using Multsicatter with "multi objects": For example a tree taken from Evermotion collection. As you know, most objects are made of some layers i.e. foliage, fruits, branches, trunk, etc. I did the following tests using a tree as Xref Object in my scene: group objects -->KO put all objects in unique layer --> KO putting al polys as one unique poly --> KO After long troubleshooting it seems the problem regards with materials used for the object. I've tried to assign a standard material to the object and the problem seems resolved Feedback are appreciated Edited December 14, 2011 by pippomu
