BrianKitts Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 To open an image in the Max frame buffer, under the "Rendering" drop down of the menu bar select "load image file". But keep in mind that this does not load it into the active rendered frame window, so you can't render on top of it if you wanted to do patch rendering for instance.
