F J
ok, im gettin' my render node set up.. so, i hear u cant use ur normal 3dsmax license to work on a 2nd computer (u'd have to get some sorta network license n STILL only 1 computer could be used for work at a time).. but we can still use it for normal render slave duties.. so how do i go about installing 3dsmax on this render slave? full install? do i have to insert serial numbers, license info, etc? thx edit: oh! which computer do i get BackBurner on? workstation or render slave? both? Don't need to register it. Leave it be and if you ever get in a bind you could activate the 30 day trial and have someone step in and help you reach a deadline. F J
alright, cool, i got it to work, thx.. still have a problem with textures so im now looking into the Asset Tracking thing.. now whats the story on IRmap/LC? only 1 computer should calc these, right? will the slave go fetch these calcs like it fetches the textures or do i have to do this stuff manually?
