Vertices problem in 3ds max

When you draw a rectangle and convert to edit spline you can see the vertex clearly in selection(See the attachment) Some time when you select the vertex nothing can see in fact the selection is there, i mean no red indication, can any body tell how to get back the red indication in vertex

Yeah, re-convert it to an editable spline again and it brings them back.

If re-converting it to sditable spline doesn´t work, than drop a edit poly modifier and then delete it. I know it sounds stupid but it works. Hope it helps. Good luck.
