Justin Hunt
Not too shabby, I'd only say desaturate the sky and the timber fence a bit and it will be much better. JHV
Stan Zaslavsky
thanks justin ... i also want to fix up my textures on the trees - at the moment a bit rough ... what are your views on adding people to this scene?
Justin Hunt
Actually I like the colours of the trees, maybe tone down the green on the centre tree. As for people, in this instant I'd leave them off, but add a car coming out of the drive way, about mid way down so as not to block the house on the right. jhv
Stan Zaslavsky
good idea re car ... sometimes people add or detract from the scene ... i wasnt sure on this one - so thatnks for the feedback. i'm only talking about the tree on the left - the trunk of it is a bit bland
Justin Hunt
The road needs a bit of texture too jhv
Stan Zaslavsky
hi all here is the second image in this project .. i'm not a big fan of aerial views - i think it makes it pretty obvious that its a simulation .. look forward to your tips and feedback in any case
jinsley
Looks pretty good so far Stan... I agree about the sky being a little too atomic in the first, it needs some desaturation... in the second image can you change the sun angle to get some of the shadow out of the courtyard? It might brighten it up a bit and make it more inviting...
Stan Zaslavsky
thanks James - great idea re sun ... i just used the old setup from scene 1. once the client confirms all the finishes - i might separate the two scenes into separate files for rendering because different angel setups have different crop settings - so it is probably going to be easier to work separately
