Stephen Thomas
We are assisting New York firm REX with their entry, you can now see the animation we produced as part of the submission here: Budget was quite tight with it being a competition. I was on it full time for around 3 weeks, with another 2 people part-time, assisting with people and furniture placement and post-production. Oh, and please go and register your vote for REX! abmitalia
Personal Style Graditory: 1 Meissle 2. Rex 3. Holl . The others for me are out of bounce. The PDF renders of REX do make become this project the most believable. RK

wasteland giant
thought the use of the sims like 3D people really detracted from the overall video experience. Would have been quite wonderful without. Imo. still, good work.. I like the Snøhetta scheme best though

Would have been quite wonderful without. Imo. still, good work.. I like the Snøhetta scheme best though Thanks for checking it out, I agree that the people are probably one of the weaker elements. We'd discussed maybe going for something more abstract, but on the other hand wanted to show the building busy and in use. It's a tough one to get right.
