bev.lynn
I have "0", none, nada, Photoshop experience and need to remove the haze from the attached image. Can someone give me step-by-step instructions on how to do this (if it is possible)? I am using Photoshop CS2. alias_marks
There's probably better more advanced ways... but I find a simple Curves Adjustment is a good start for this type of thing.. You could probably get into some levels adjustments too... you can either go to Image>adjustment>Curves or apply an adjustment layer by using the half black/white cookie looking circle at the bottom of the layer pallette.. In this particular case I did the whole curves once on their own, the it looked a little too green and red... so I lowered those curves individually. bev.lynn
Thanks Michael, Using the Curves Adjustment works well for what I'm doing. Learning is awesome! All I need is about 48 hours in a day, the hands of time turned back 25 years and I could master 3ds max design and photoshop in a couple of weeks! LOL, if you've learned 3D max 10 years ago, half of what you know is useless by now!

Are you implying that there is a better way to get shiny objects than scanline with raytraced materials? Sorry, I'm having trouble rendering a 320x240 flc file on my 286. Gotta run!
