Machine spec precision 690 OS:XP 64 4gb Ram I have installed the drivers as per the Discs included with the GC. Anybody have any idea? Bios problem? The old one ie the one that comes with the card in the box was from alst march so the new one is last September so i hope that fixes it. Slinger Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 Philip, First off, did you simply delete the old drivers? if so, this is not teh way to do it. You need to download a program like drive sweeper and delete them. Second, knowing this is Dell computer, I bet you do not have the secondary PCI power cables hooked up to the card, which it will need. If you are powering on your system and your screen is blue from the get go, no bios screen etc being viewed, then this is the issue. A GTX470 gfx card is going to need at least a 500watt PSU as well, so check the specs of the PSU with your system. Let me know wants you try these things out and I will help you the best I can.
