mskin
Just curious how people are presenting to clients from an architectural point of view. we have been using power point since the beginning of time, but now, we're trying to insert movies and .swf files into the presentation --- it just all seems a little weird. is there a pointer available that will allow a presenter to control the swf file independently from the power point presentation? this kind of seems to be a hang up for us. do you insert animations into the ppt or do you break them out as separate files? - its kind of breaks momentum to be in front of a board of decision makers, have a limited amount of time and need to minimize power point in order to control a movie, or a swf. i guess the question is how to best present all these different file types in a seemless way? thanks. maciejwypych
I use pdf for presentation. It just works better with different file formats, and you can get better quality, especially when viewing architectural plans. When you save a pdf as a full screen presentation it works almost the same as a power point.
mskin
maciej - but this does not work with movie formats - does it?
Craig Ramsay
It does now. I did a PDF presentation recently with a full screen animation embedded into the PDF file, it took a lot of messing about with settings but you can do it.
