Autocad Architecture Walls Different Materials

Hi all,

 

I created some walls in autocad architecture. I would like 3 of the 4 walls to be one color, and the 4th a different color. I created my materials and apply and all walls turn the same color.

 

Originally I had the import sent by Entity.... Not sure why this didn't work.

So I went into CAD and put 3 of the walls on one layer and the 4th on a second. I removed the file link and recreated it deriving primitives by layer....

 

Still no luck.

 

Any ideas?

The wall you would like a different colour assign it a different style in AutoCad Architecture

then re-import/link it.

I actually found the issue. I had apply materials to all instances checked. Once I unchecked that I was able to apply the colors to different walls.
