architectandy
Hi ... another monday morning and another new challenge from my boss. For the past week I've been experimenting with QTVR movies. I've got them coming out quite well and was pretty chuffed to present them to him on Friday. So this morning he's asked if they can be linked together ... I was quick off the mark and said yeah ... no bother ... them hotspot thingmys will do the job there. But dammit ... he wants them linked with small animations in between QTVR's?? So for example we start with a small animation of the front of the apartment block leading to the hallway of an individual apartment. This turns into a QTVR ... we then click on the living room hotspot ... and we have a lovely animation of moving up the door and going inside and then to another QTVR. Can you see where I'm going with this? My first inclination is that I do this in Flash on some sort of web based platform. Can anyone direct me to tutorials, or (UK or Ireland) training courses that would teach me this. Just another wee question ... does anyone else have a problem with Quicktime? Out company IT guy went ballistic when I said I needed Quicktime installed on some of the machines?? Anyway ... any help would be fantastic! Cheers - Andy

Cheers - Andy I think flash is the only way to get this done. Check this site out here: http://activeden.net/searches?term=360&type=files for some premade components. Quicktime is a little buggy on some machines, I know on my main office pc it keeps crashing Firefox - no clue why.
DavidR
There's an issue with QTVR and 64-bits, isn't there? We use Easypano Tourweaver software ($$), but they have a 'walkthrough' software that sounds like what you're looking for.
