Devin Johnston
Is there a way to lower the horizon line of HDRI's without moving the camera? I'm using a Vray dome light with my HDRI mapped to the Texture channel of the light as well as the environment channel. My camera is 90 feet above ground and I'm not using an infinite ground plane so there is a big black gap where the horizon of the HDRI stops and my ground plane is. All I want to do is lower the sky until it looks like it meets the ground but I can't find any way to affect the sky using my current configuration, it may not be possible but I'd like to know before I try something else. Stephen Thomas
You can rotate the dome light on the x and y axis to lower the horizon, though obviously it will raise it on the other side. The easiest thing might be to just scale the HDR in photoshop, I've done this before to remove skyline trees/buildings from an HDR to just use the sky. aristocratic3d
You can drag your Hdr to slot and play with the offset. that should work.
