Lighting analysis

I need to do a lighting analysis of an exterior curved canopy. I have not been able to get Max or Dialux to do this. Both appear to be only able to do Flat surfaces.

 

Does anybody know of a lighting analysis software that will allow me to do an analysis of a curved surface

you have 2 choices with max. either you use the render element to extract per pixel data or use a light meter, with a bend modifier. modifiers can be applied to the light meters

I never thought of adding a bend modifier to the light meter. Thanks
