Jonathan Sanchez
Hey Guys, So I'm working on a project and the client has asked me if I could insert uniformed school children into the shot. So I looked around online and of course there aren't many collections of uniformed school children. So, after researching this forum, found various other threads with similar issues, and it seems the only real solution is to go out and take pics myself at schools. That would not be possible in my area, I'd get arrested real quick. So, since it's been some time since the last thread, have any of you found a uniformed school children collection?.. or if you've created your own collection, would you be willing to share / sell it? (i hope i've not broken a forum rule by asking for this, if so sorry mods)

jinsley
Sorry, I googled for some help and got a selection of ac dc pics and other choices that were a little bit racier... I figured ac dc was a little safer to quickly clip out and post. I have been told by a colleague that he approached his cousins grade 4 class teacher about snapping some shots of his class a few years back... after explaining the use of the images and getting checked out by the Principal, he provided a waiver to be signed by any of the students parents who wanted to participate and then spent 30 mins one lunch shooting some photos against a make-shift green screen. its definitely one of the harder sets of stock to find in my experience, so good luck! LEt us know what you find.

JonRashid
You could try shutterstock. We work with schools a lot and it can be a problem. We had to jump through hoops to use some shots of the kids with their stereoscopic glasses on.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Any nieces or nephews that you could bribe to dress up in a uniform so you can take composite shots? It couldn't matter a great deal if there are only a few different kids. If you get enough different angles and action shots combined with tinting in Photoshop you could probably make it look like a full class.

That is precisely what me and the client were discussing and are going to probably have to do... for the distant bird's eye shots it would work great, but I'm gonna have to figure something out for the closeup shots. He's got 2 kids, we are gonna dress them up and take a bunch of pics.
