Product Design business

As the arc viz business is taking a serious nose dive in ireland, how would one begin to get into the product design business?

I can't really help you there. I've tried to get information on this in the past myself, but haven't found much out there. It would be great to hear from someone who does this regularly. I don't know of a company that specialises solely in Product Vis but I've seen a few companies that provide Product Vis along with Arch Vis too.

 

I was under the impression that it's a more difficult area to get into these days, as the designers themselves can produce HQ renders with simpler renderers such as Keyshot. I guess the question is, who exactly are the people that you need to target for work?

I would guess there is plenty of opportunities in product visualization. However it would be in the animation sector dealing with the marketing side of things.
